This is Kara Koolage!! Kara is the manager at Next Fitness. Besides scheduling, hiring, training and promoting our gym, she also develops our unique workouts each day to ensure our members have a well rounded workout plan each week.
Kara graduated Salisbury College in Maryland with a B.A. in Exercise Science and a ACSM Exercise Physiologist. In addition, she has been working and training for the past four years. Her experience and knowledge prepare our members to be challenged to their potential each and every day.
From a very young age, Kara has been passionate about fitness. She loves pushing and challenging herself to always be better. During college, Kara, began to work with others. She found the experience of motivating others to be their best version and the positive impact she had on their lives, very rewarding..
Kara was a high school and college athlete and upon graduating college, she became a college lacrosse coach. After a few years, she decided to make a change a do something more closely related to her degree and took a position in health and wellness while still coaching lacrosse.
Kara says that from the first day she felt welcomed and already part of the Next Fitness Family. She loves the variety of workouts and the motivation of each member.
During her off time, you will find Kara developing a youth lacrosse league at the beach for elementary, middle school and high school lacrosse - Duval Lacrosse. She also enjoys working out, watching the sunrise at the beach and soaking up the sun in the afternoon. If you are at the beach, you might even find Kara riding her bike with friends.
